Summary of Term 1 Group Project

At the start of Term 1we went through ethical scenarios. The class came up with a few odd scenarios, I got a few weird looks.
Within the next few weeks we were spoken to by Mat from the Accounting part of TAFE. He asked us to come with a marketing idea to get more people interested in accounting.

We split into three groups as a result of this. My group consisted of Sophie, Doug, and Myself. Our idea was a comic strip showing the bright side of accounting and reason that it would be worth the time to study. Over the weeks we discussed the way it should have been done. Doug was in charge of The story boards, Sophie and I were in charge of researching ideas and statistics we could put into the comic strip.

To show our work to the client (Matt), we came up with a power point presentation summarising our entire idea. On the day of Presentation, Doug was absent, making our showing of the idea hard, seeing as he had all the ideas in his head for the comic strip Our Idea didn't get picked, but Sophie and I didn't really expect it to any way. Following the turnout of the presentations, the three groups were divided into two, each were asked to complete one of two tasks, based on advertising the TAFE accounting district.
